Young Adults
Vienna Public Library houses a Young Adult fiction collection featuring popular new titles, old favorites, and many paperback series. The room is currently undergoing a make-over, so watch for the bright colors to make a big splash in June.
A small, teen reading room contains a computer, graphic novels and popular non-fiction. This is an area for teens to do homework on afternoons and weekends. Computers are available for word processing and Internet research. Library staff is also there to help.
Each summer, the Reading Program offers prizes to teens who read! Prizes include: food coupons, new paperback books, and other various prizes. Look for more fun, free programs offered at Vienna Public Library, just for teens.
Practice the ACT at Home
The ACT test is just around the corner, and you need to study for it! But, all the test prep study guides have been checked out from the library!
Don't despair! You can practice your test on VPL's online database LearningExpress Library. Upon setting up your account online, you can study and practice from the computer at home or in the library. It's that easy! The system even keeps track of where you start and stop every time you log on.
